A 14-year-old boy discovered that the government can save $234 million just by switching fonts. According to Suvir Mirchandani’s research, if the government switches their official font from Times New Roman to Garamond, they will save a ton of money on paper and ink costs. Garamond is a lighter font, using less ink, plus it takes up less space on the page. Somebody get this kid a seat in the cabinet!
